Professional Development
The Professional Development Division of Learning Plus
assisits schools and districts with putting the people and the processes in
place that translate improvement plans into concrete actions that sustain
continuos academic growth.
Our staff is a group of skilled educators with recent experience and expertise in standards based instruction and curriculum development, assessment and data analysis, and leadership at the site and district level. We work with schools and districts to identify needs, design specific plans, and provide on-site coaching for staff and administrators in specific, targeted areas that will lead to positive educational impacts.
Our professional staff has held positions of leadership as superintendents or
assistant superintendents in multiple districts. For the past six years we have
provided consultant services to districts and schools focused on school
improvement in California and several other states.
When you select Learning Plus, you will receive a carefully designed package of support in key areas. Every consultant is an experienced educational leader. With this expertise comes the ability to understand issues and connect current research on best practices to a school or district circumstance to create specific solutions.
